Cookie Policy
Which cookies and data this site saves on your device, what they are for, how you give or withdraw consent and how you can control them.

In short
This site uses technical cookies only, which make it work and need no consent. It uses no profiling, analytics or advertising cookies. The videos and virtual tours of the listings are hosted by third parties (YouTube, Vimeo, Matterport), who may use cookies of their own: we load them only if you agree, in the banner or in the “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page.
The banner and your choice
On your first visit a banner shows two buttons of the same weight, “Accept” and “Reject”, and a third, “Customize”, which opens the preferences. Closing the banner with the X or the Esc key is the same as rejecting. Until you choose, the page behind the banner stays blurred (the Privacy, Cookie and Terms pages can always be read, without the blur). The site works the same way in every case: without your consent only the third-party content is not loaded.
We remember your choice for 6 months in a technical cookie (“gk_consent”), then we ask again. You can change or withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it:
What we save
| Name | Set by | What it is for | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
gk_consent | This site | Remembers your cookie choice. | 6 months | Technical (necessary) |
gk_mode | This site | Remembers whether you prefer the light or the dark theme. It is created only if you change the appearance. | 12 months | Technical (functional) |
gk_fav, gk_mode (browser local storage) | This site | The “favourites” you save with the heart and the theme choice. They are not cookies and are never sent to the server. | Until you delete them | Technical |
gk_tab, gk_seg_view (session storage) | This site | Remember where the List/Map switch and the menu item were, to animate them on the next page. | Until the tab is closed | Technical |
Cookies of YouTube, Vimeo and Matterport | Third parties | Play the videos and the virtual tours. The service sets them, not us, and only after your consent. | Under the service's own policy | Third-party content (with consent) |
Third-party services (only with your consent)
Until you agree we make no request to these services. If you withdraw consent we no longer load their content; cookies a service has already stored in your browser are deleted from the browser settings (see below).
- YouTube (Google), from the youtube-nocookie.com domain, the privacy-enhanced mode: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
- Vimeo, with the “do not track” option on: vimeo.com/cookie_policy
- Matterport, for the virtual tours: matterport.com/cookie-policy
Maps
Maps are provided by OpenFreeMap: your browser downloads the map tiles and the service receives your IP address and the area you are looking at, but it stores no cookie. It is what you asked for by opening the map; details are in the privacy notice.
How to control them in your browser
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge): the site will keep working, but you will have to choose the appearance and your cookie choice again at each visit.
If something changes
If we ever use analytics tools or services that store data on your device, we will update this page and ask for your consent first: the banner will show again.
